Bishop

Following a vision from God for a different kind of church, Bishop Jean Dedieu Munyambabazi, alongside his wife Amy, launched United Awakening Baptist Church (UABC) with a small yet devoted group of believers. Guided by a calling to create a community rooted in faith, compassion, and active outreach, Bishop Munyambabazi envisioned a church that would go beyond traditional boundaries to serve and uplift people from all walks of life.

The UABC Executive Team is dedicated to guiding United Awakening Baptist Church in fulfilling its mission to bring faith, hope, and transformation to our communities. This team, composed of senior pastors, ministry directors, and administrative leaders, works collaboratively to define and implement UABC’s vision and goals. Through strategic planning and prayerful discernment, the UABC Executive Team ensures that the church’s ministries, worship services, and outreach efforts align with our core values and support the spiritual growth of our congregation. Their leadership enables UABC to be a vibrant and welcoming community, devoted to impacting lives for Christ locally and globally.
